The design is pretty simple and clean. We use all the accumulated skinny whiskey barrel staves and mill them down and also sand them clean. The patinas that show through are to die for. The quarter sawn American White Oak has so many patterns and tiger stripe like feature. You’d almost forget that it’s reclaimed lumber. The barrel wood will be light brown with dark areas from the steal band. The back is black because the inside of the whiskey barrel is charred.
