We at the Hungarian Workshop have many designs of furniture and home decor made from reclaimed bourbon whiskey barrels. We have a whole wide selection to choose from. Our second best seller is the whiskey barrel barstools. In the past year it actually became the best seller to be honest. We might have not sold as many as our lounge chairs over all but the orders for these surpassed the lounge chairs for the year. We offer these in a couple options. You can choose the 26″ seat height which is ideal for a kitchen island which is usually at 36″. Or the standard 30″ seat height which is for the bars. Those are commonly at 42″. Now if you have a custom bar and need a slight height adjustment we can typically accommodate. Just be sure to give us a little time. After all, please remember these are all handmade here in the USA and we are a small business.

The other option for the stools is the backrest. We have one style that has a backrest and one that doesn’t. This is mainly just a preference thing. Both styles are very comfortable. One key feature is the 180 degree memory swivel. This helps keep the bar area nice and neat because the memory swivel self repositions the seats when not in use. The footrests are a barrel hoop which keeps adding the historical characteristics to the product.
