Each Whiskey Barrel is made from 26-30 oak staves. About 6 of these staves are too skinny to be used in our furniture. We do have the lounge chair that has the wide back rest which is made up from 6 skinny staves. However, not every barrel becomes a lounge chair so we are left with hundreds of left over skinny staves.

With quite a bit of milling and cleaning these skinny staves look amazing when sliced up and laid next to one another. With this simple concept we added some shelves in between and the final product was born. The design is to have the focus on the item at display while also having an amazing contrasting background. The reclaimed oak has so many different grain movements and patinas that they make for a great display while empty as well.
We offer the Best High End Whiskey Bottle Display Shelves in two options. We have a small one with a single shelf and a large one with two shelves. Each one has a 15″ clearance from shelf to the top of the staves. Ideal for most bottles or house plants and pictures. To hang all you have to do is use a long hook or screw. It must stick out from the wall about an inch. Be sure to use wall anchors or drill into studs since the panels are solid oak and weight about 15 lbs.
