We at the Hungarian Workshop have been designing and working with barrel wood for over a decade now. What started as a weekend hobby quickly turned into a fast paste demanding business. There are a lot of people out there who appreciate the art of handcrafting furniture and when you mix in the eco-friendly up-cycling aspect, the demand for them rises even more. Here are some of our best sellers and most successful designs.
The Whiskey Barrel Bar Stools: These barstools have been probably one of our best sellers because almost everyone has the space and the need for them. Every house hold has a kitchen most of them have some sort of bar top, island counter or just a nook seating where a barstool can be utilized. Not to mention home bars, man caves, game rooms etc. With these simple facts the whiskey barrel barstools quickly surpassed our other best seller, the lounge chairs. We offer three different options of our stools. We have the swiveling ones that come with or without a backrest. Next we have the saddle barstools which are ideal for narrow or smaller areas. And finally, we have the bar chairs. These are big and wide, ideal for a spot with lots of space.
How To Add Some Rustic Charm To Your Home
Whiskey Barrel Decor Shelvings: Even tho we only been selling these for about a year and half, they have proven to be the best way to eliminate our waste as well. Whiskey Barrel are made up of about 30-32 pieces of wooden staves. 6-10 of these are narrow skinny stave that can’t be used in much of our furniture designs. By solely using these skinny whiskey stave we have saved pallets of them from going into the trash. Up-cycling at its finest. The shelves are great for displaying anything small you want while adding that reclaimed wood decor to your home. Whether its house plants or pictures or even your finest whiskey bottles, these shelfs and hearty the robust. Made to last for many many years. Just like all our furniture.
Our main product is the whiskey barrel lounge chairs. These are the focal point of our business. We stared everything from making these. I still actually have my very first one I made. It’s a bit weathered but still sold after 13 years of being exposed to all the elements. The lounge chairs are ideal for home and business use. Our first batches are also still sitting in beer gardens and tasting room around the San Diego area.
