A unique take on Bourbon Barrel Clocks

Most common style of bourbon barrel clocks are made from the whiskey barrel’s heads. These would be the round tops and bottoms. If not used in as a table top, the second piece most craftsman make are clocks. After all, they are the perfect size and with the distillery markings they show off the material’s true history best. That being said, hell of a lot of barrels also come with what we would call throw away staves. There is about 6-10 skinny staves in a 28-32 stave barrel which can not be used for much. Since we are not fond of just throwing away material we try to come out with more more ways to up-cycle theses narrow skinny staves as well.

A unique take on Bourbon Barrel Clocks

Last year we come out with the Decor Shelves, and the year before we had the Saddle Barstools. These have been great hits and we sell a lot of them, however not enough to get rid of the pallets full of skinny staves. Don’t get me wrong we have put a huge dent into the piles. We just need another product to help with the last 30% or so.

Since clocks have been a huge hit and because mainly everyone has room for them and most likely use one, I wanted to create a completely different version of what’ve already have. So, instead of a solid round clock with the roman numerals I went with a staggered stave pattern with no digits and in a rectangular shape. This design is basically the exact opposite of our original clocks. Anyone who might be tired off seeing those typical kind, now has an option for a new artisan style clock.

Right now these clocks come in 3 different versions. We have them in stock and can ship with in a week.
