The Hungarian Workshop is a San Diego bassed custom furniture company that specializes in up cycling Wine and Whiskey Barrel Furniture. They are the ones who create all Stone Brewing Company’s outdoor furniture and Whole Foods’ Bar furniture in some locations. BAR CHAIR – This Bar Chair is made completely out of Whiskey Barrels and it is available with a 360 degrees or a 180 degrees memory swivel. The metal ring works as a foot rest while adding strength to the chairs lower frame. Because stainless steel hardware is used throughout the chair, it can be placed indoor and outdoor. The Brazilian Rosewood Oil finish keeps the wood from drying and will repel moisture while keeping the barrels natural patina. Designed with comfort in mind the arm and back rest will keep you supported and relaxed for extended periods of time. Great for any type of bars, patio and decks.
WHSKEY BARREL COFFE TABLE – Yes, the title is indeed correct. This coffee table is made completely from reclaimed Whiskey Barrel tops and bottoms. The amount of work that goes into each of these table is tremendous but well worth it when finished. Made from about 50 lids milled down completely to reveal the beautiful golden colors and grain patterns. With plenty of markings still left behind to show the material true history. This is a great modern piece made from a rustic background.
Wine Barrel Love Seat – This Wine Barrel Love Seat chair provides the same comfort and elegance as the chairs. However, there’s one big difference – you get to relax and enjoy a seat with someone by your side!
Accommodating for 2 or 3 people, this bench give any patio or yard a fresh new look.
The benches are made from barrels used for red wine, which explains the amazing deep purple and burgundy patina wood. They have a nice and wide opening, and the seats slant just the right amount without feeling like you are sitting on the floor. All the barrel staves curve to fit to your body – providing excellent support through out. The seat is lightly sanded just enough to take off any dirt and grime, without removing any of the natural colors. Stainless steel clips underneath to ensure structural durability and strength.
